Indian Cow breeds give healthier milk: Research.

New Delhi, July 3: Indian cow and buffalo breeds possess a rich A2 allele gene that provides a better and healthier quality of milk than foreign breeds, according to a new study. The PTI recently reported about the study.
“The A2 allele gene in Indian milk breeds of cows and buffalos are 100 per cent, while in foreign breeds, it is around 60 per cent,” scientists of the National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources (NBAGR) have said in a report. Furthermore the frequency of this allele in Indian milk breeds is 1.0 (100 per cent), while in exotic breeds, it has been reported to be nearly 0.6 (60 per cent) or less, they added. Set up in 1984, NBAGR is an arm of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and is based in Karnal, Haryana.
The finding was arrived at after screening the status of the A2 allele of the beta casein gene in indigenous cows like Red Sindhi , Sahiwal, Tharparkar, Rathi, Gir, Ongole and Vechur etc, NBAGR Director B K Joshi said. “The counter allele to A2 is A1, which is considered to be associated with diabetic, obesity, cardiovascular diseases etc,” added Joshi. “Although the foreign breeds of cows produce more milk than Indian varieties, but due to more concentration of A1 gene in those breeds, the milk is of low quality,” the report said, adding that the long-term use of such milk may cause several health disorders.
The scientists scanned 22 breeds of Indian cows and found that in five milk yielding Indian cows —Red Sindhi, Sahiwal, Tharparkar, Rathi and Gir (see pics. above) — the status of the A2 allele was 100 per cent, while in other Indian breeds used for farming, its status was around 94 per cent, Joshi added. The scientists also scanned the status of this allele in the two most popular foreign breeds in India, Holstein Friesian and Jersey, in which the status of the A2 allele was 60 per cent only.

Neeraj Grover Murder Case : 300 PIECES OF HUMANITY AND BIZARRE ANTI HINDU PRESS.

300 PIECES OF HUMANITY AND BIZARRE PRESS.

by Somiksha C Mohanta on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 12:43pm

Can god drag a murderer closer to him after he or she commits a brutal murder? The first answer to this question that I got is 1300 years old. Mohammed brainwashed the muslims in IBN E MAJAH (vol-1, page- 697) that “when one murders another, property of the murdered becomes the property of the murderer.” Here the Islamic god is teaching the faithful the benefits of murder. The second answer I got was just one day ago. From maria susairaj, a modern, educated and gorgeous women. Islam is born in the womb of desert tribal illiteracy by the offspring of Arabian  fanaticism. That’s why even as a major sect of xtianity welcomed renaissance, muslims strategically avoided it. But alas, even after being xtian, maria was untouched by the renaissance.

Yes, I am talking about Maria Susairaj, the infamous Kannad actress. She was engaged in love with a Hindu boy Neeraj Grover who was killed by Emili Jerome, the fiancé of her decided by her parents. Neeraj’s body was found in a 300 split. But neeraj’s biggest misfortune is his Hindu identity. For last 3 years this brutal killing was suppressed by media.

Now Maria is happy to be released, struggling to hide her smile. She has passed her time in jail “by painting and praying to god.” She said, “MY DAYS INSIDE JAIL WAS BLESSED. in these 3 years I came closer to my god. He knows what I have done is not a sin.” She visited church on the pretext, “I need to visit who got me out of here”. All these drama was going on in a bizarre press conference.

Meanwhile many things have been tracked by me that my radar carefully caught from passing away.

  • Firstly, whenever someone is brutally killed in delhi, there is a huge hue and cry. We have seen in the case of priyadarshini mattu, Jessica laal etc. but are the non metro people less important ?
  • Neeraj was killed and then cut into 300 pieces, but what about the Hindu lovers like CHANCHAL SADHUKHAN, ARKA BANNERJEE, SAIBAL MANDAL, SAILENDRA PRASAD , RAJNEESH SHARMA. The last was killed by Kashmir police for loving Amina Yusuf, a muslim lady. All others were beheaded into two pieces alive and then made numerous pieces. Why there is no hues? The answer is these poor Hindus didn’t have any friend like film maker ASHOK PANDIT who could launch silent protest that would be bizarrely spotted by media, that could be posted in facebook.
  • All coverage hungry crocodiles barked for RIZWANUR, but none for these people ? why ??????? don’t these Hindu men have hearts ?
  • In the media coverage in times now a footnote comes as, “sharif sheikh says, maria will not join bollywood.”  That means certainly the media questioned about her plans for bollywood . is this the media ethics, to make a murderer a celebrity ? is it ? so is it believable when media glorifies one person ?
  • Ramgopal verma now is making a film on the story as “ NOT A LOVE STORY”. Generally if any hindu organization come in support of the slain, media calls it “politicizing” but when bollywood is doing so, why not they are maligned for encashing a tragedy ?
  • Live india tv telecasted a show, “murder karo…heroine bano”. Here the controvercial film maker Kamal Khan was the guest. The debate was that has it been the key to get into bollywood, the wrong deeds ? Kamal Khan got a scope to blame baba ramdev. As the anchors were exemplifying how reality shows glorified, Abbas Kaazhmee, Poonam Pandey, Rahul Bhatt..all known for wrong reasons. Then Kamal Khan said, “ Baba Ramdev for example, he is a product of controversy. None knew himbefore his frauds.” The male Muslim anchor was silent but the female Hindu anchor retaliated in angry mood, “what he has done for yoga is a milestone and he is fighting for a good cause.” Kamal said, “at least I did not know him”. This joker is not any encyclopedia or Wikipedia that his grey cells would contain all informations. He looks like moron, and when he does hip hop he achieves more perfection in moronness. In fact, Kamal was famous for his controvercies, neither ago, nor after. But how come live india did not show Kamal’s controvercies? Don’t they have guts?
I am eager to know that how far people and media would take to count all people as equal, regardless of Rizwanoor Rehaman  or Rajneesh Sharma? Why Hindus have been rejected rights in their own homeland under state sponsored strategy to oil Islamic fanaticism ?

When far we would get our answers ? how far humanity would be split into 300 pieces?

As a part of Rath Yatra, the sacred wooden idols  Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Mother Subhadra are taken out from the sanctum sanctorum of world famous Puri Jagannath temple in a large procession of millions to the Gundcha Temple and remain there for nine days. In three separate Chariots, eye balls of the devotees complete their journey in phases capturing all attentions for more than 8 hours.  Then the deities are returned again to the Puri Jagannath temple through a Return Charriot Yatra (Ultto Ratha) after observing certain rituals. The return journey in Puri is also known as Bahuda Yatra.
For the rath yatra, three huge chariots – each with about a dozen wheels up to 7 feet in diameter – are ritually pulled through the streets, from the Jagannath temple to the temple of Gundicha Mandir. The Raths are replicas of the Jagannath temple and each of them carries an idol – of Jagannath in Nandighosa Ratha, of his brother Balbhadra in Taladhwaja Ratha and his sister Subhadra in Dwarpadalana Ratha.

New painting at temple top to make a colorful celebration at Puri Rath Yatra.

The Railways authority in India has arranged specials trains for Ratha Yatra Festival this year also like previous years. A big arrangements are aslo done by the respective authorities to facilitate the thousands of pilgrims already reached Sri Dham Puri. The chariot Festival  is now considered as a major festival in the Global hindus as every continent and mojor cities are absorved with the fervor of Chariot festival of lord Jagannath. ISKCON is the main organisation  for for this. Hare Krishana !!!

Rajat Das Gupta writes about Dhamrai Jagganath Rath Yatra in Bangladesh.

Dhamrai Jagannath Rath Yatra
Dhamrai Jagannath Rath is a chariot temple dedicated to the God Jagannath located in Dhamrai, Bangladesh. The deities are housed in an elaborate six storied wooden chariot and are taken out in a grand annual procession known as the Rathyatra. the Chariot is adorned by carvings and paintings of Hindu deities. The Rathyatra is the oldest and most famous in Bangladesh attracting thousands of devotees from all over the country. It was started by Raja Josho Pal who found a Vishnu Statue in the forest. The name of the statue was after the name of the Raja JOSHOMADHOB. The Annual Rathayatra was famous because of the 80-foot-tall chariot built by the Zamindars of the region during the 19th century. This Chariot was burnt by the Pakistani Army during the 1971 war and has since been replaced by 27 foot tall Chariot. Few Years back Indian Govt. helped to reconstruct the chariot. Every year in Ashaŗh Month (according to bangla calender) in the shukla ditiya thithi the Rathayatra takes place. This year(2011) it is in the 3rd July. The religious ceremony will end on the 11th July,2011. These 9 days the rituals continue. But the local festival continues for one month. Traditional Home Made sweets and showpieces are available in this fair. Circus party, folk lore and other rural amusements attract the people from far away.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The legend of El Dorado was definitely not set on the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple. But the seven-member panel, which is drawing up a list of assets at the famed shrine here, had a feel of the lost city of gold as they set foot in one of the two secret vaults located inside the sprawling granite structure which gives the Kerala capital its name.
On Thursday, the team assisted by personnel from the fire services and archeology department opened the locks of vault A to find a narrow flight of stairs leading down to an underground granite cellar. Oxygen was pumped frequently into the chamber and artificial lighting provided to enable the observers to work inside.
What they saw inside was startling, sources said. Gold coins dating back thousands of years, gold necklaces as long as nine feet and weighing about 2.5 kg, about one tonne of the yellow metal in the shape of rice trinkets, sticks made of the yellow metal, sack full of diamonds, gold ropes, thousands of pieces of antique jewellery studded with diamonds and emeralds, crowns and other precious stones lay scattered in the chamber marked 'A'.

The vetta/arattu processions
Friday threw up far more surprises in the form of 17 kg of gold coins dating back to the East IndiaCompany period, 18 coins from Napolean's era, precious stones wrapped in silk bundles besides over 1,000 kg of gold in the form of coins and trinkets and a small elephant made of the yellow metal, sources said.
There were also sovereigns bearing the 1772 seal indicating they were from the reign of the then native king Karthika Thirunal Rama Varma. There are a total of six vaults marked A to F in the shrine. The A and B cellars have never opened since 1872.
Reports said the value of the recoveries so far from vault A alone may exceed over Rs 50,000 crore. This doesn't take into account their antique value. With chamber B, yet to be opened, speculation was rife that the shrine would pip Tirupati Balaji, who too has been assessed at a little more than Rs 50,000 crore to a distant second. No official confirmation has been forthcoming on the value of the recoveries.
Retired Kerala high court judges — Justice M N Krishnan and Justice C S Rajan — appointed observers by the Supreme Court said, ''It's difficult to give an exact date about when the stock-taking would be completed. The B and E vaults remain to be opened. We think it may take another week.''
Asked about the value of the assets, Justice Krishnan said the committee was drawing up the inventory of items and were not determining their price. The panel had set out on the job on June 27 and opened three vaults marked C, D and F till Wednesday. Assets found in these chambers were estimated to be worth over Rs 1,000 crore.
The wealth discovery has raised questions on the shrine's security. As of now, the internal security is managed by the temple employees, but this may be inadequate in the light of the events.

Initiating their dialogue with political parties, the Anna Hazare team met
senior BJP leader L.K. Advani

Anna Hazare meets BJP top brass on Lokpal Bill

Source: News Bharati  | Date: 7/1/2011 8:07:59 PM | eNews Bharati.

BJP today made its first serious move to engage on the Lokpal Bill issue with its top brass discussing the two drafts of the proposed legislation and the impact of bringing MPs and higher judiciary in its ambit with civil society activists led by Anna Hazare.
Hazare, along with his team members Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi, went to the BJP headquarters here for a meeting with LK Advani and ten other top party leaders, who assured him that the opposition party was fully committed to a "strong and credible" Lokpal.
During the one-and-a-half hour meeting, also attended by Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley, the civil society members apprised the BJP leaders of the points of differences between their draft and the draft of the government representatives led by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.
Both maintained that there was no discussion on including the Prime Minister within the ambit of the Lokpal. Team Anna has been making a strong pitch for such a move.
The opposition's main concern was whether the MPs would continue to enjoy the legal immunity they do for acts done in Parliament once the Lokpal is appointed.
"We were asked whether constitutionally it is possible to have the Lokpal and Lokayukta under the same Bill and about Article 105 (2) of the Constitution (which deals with immunity to MPs for their actions in Parliament). There were a lot of technical questions which were asked," Kejriwal said.
Both the BJP and the civil society members agreed that the Bill should ensure a mechanism by which people of "integrity and independence" are appointed as Lokpal.
After the meeting, BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said his party is "fully committed to a strong and credible Lokpal".
With government having convened an all-party meeting on July 3 to discuss the issue, BJP chose to keep its cards close to its chest, refusing to divulge areas of disagreement with the government and Jan Lokpal drafts.

Talking against black money & corruption is not crime, but people's rights.

Nitin Gadkari wedged a severe attack on Manmohan Sing over his statements during the meet with select editors

Is it a crime to talk against black money & corruption ? – Gadkari asks PM

Source: News Bharati | Date: 6/29/2011 9:39:54 PM | eNews Bharati.

New Delhi, June 29 : The BJP president Gadkari today launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the views aired by him during his interaction with select editors, terming him as “failed” economist. Taking strong objection to the PM’s remarks on Baba Ramdev & Ramleela ground incident, he asked the PM, “is it a crime in India to talk against black money & corruption?” Also referring to the fuel price hike, he quipped that the congress government does not want the common man to live.

The BJP president, reacting to the Prime Ministers select press meet on Tuesday, said that the quandary the government is currently in, is of its own making.

Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Nitin Gadkari took strong exception to PM’s allegation that the Opposition is ‘not cooperating’ and instead alleged that the government did not consult them before starting parleys with the civil society over Lokpal bill.

Big protest in Bangladesh against Islamic Constitution. India should intervene.

Bangladeshi Hindus and other minorities denounced the Islamic Constitution.

Big protest in Bangladesh against Islamic Constitution

Sambuddha Gupta | Dhaka | June 30, 2011.
Dhaka stirs with Big Protests. Thousands of protesters marched in capital Dhaka on Thursday against Bangladesh parliament adopted an Islamic constitution, steering away from a secular political culture, which was enshrined in 1972 constitution.
A half a mile long rally organized by a conglomerate of Hindu and other ethnic groups, left parties and pro-secular groups, chanting anti-government slogans and waving red flags marched towards the parliament, where the ruling party and her alliance lawmakers hastily adopted several amendments to the constitution on Thursday noon.
……………………………
Hindus and other religious minorities in Bangladesh clearly slammed the approval of the 15th constitutional amendment bill to retain Islam as the state religion as it was against the secular character of the constitution granted and accepted by the new bornBangladesh Republic in 1972. Quashing that National spirit of equality and secularism, Bangladesh’s Parliament approved the 15th Amendment Bill 2011 recently that scraps the controversial nonpartisan caretaker system to conduct general elections and also retains Islam as the state religion. The free thinkers society and a small section in Muslim Community consiting eminent scholars, writers, human rightists also raised their humble voice in the cause of retention of the Secular Constitution of Bangladesh as it was adopted in 1972.
………..
Rana Dasgupta, General Secretary of Hindu Boudhha Christian Oikya Parishad (HBCOP), a key organisation of religious minorities in Bangladesh, said the entire nation wanted the restoration of the spirit of secularism.”We are deeply disappointed…this has violated our fundamental rights and that is why we are rejecting the amendment,” Dasgupta told the news agency PTI. The HBCOP claimed that it deprived the country’s nearly 2.5 crore religious and ethnic minorities from their rights of Hinduism and other religious beliefs. Amongst them, Hindus are the second largest religious affiliation in Bangladesh. There are over 150 million Hindus in the country, according to the 2001 census. Dasgupta said that the HBCOP, headed by former army general CR Datta (Veer Uttam), has called a nationwide day-long hunger strike on Friday on 1st July.
………………..
The organisation would also stage a black flag protest in front of the National Press Club in the heart of the capital tomorrow. Dasgupta said.”We fear that the development has pushed us to a situation where the followers of different religious faiths will abstain from casting their votes in next elections or wage a campaign demanding separate election in reserve seats..”  He said. “Bangladesh’s 1972 constitution contained four state principles, including secularism that was scrapped under the government of military ruler Ziaur Rahman. Former military ruler Hussain Muhammad Ershad declared Islam the state religion in 1988 by amending the constitution. Currently HM Ershad the chief of Jatiya Party which is aligned with the Awami League-led ruling coalition Government in Bangladesh, is again playing his vital role to retain his Islamic amendments in the present 15th amendment in constitution to abolish the basic principles of original constitution”.
The irritations and the agitations in BD minority groups has no impact perhaps in theCultural Citadel of Asia at Kolkata due to an inertia of Bengal Intellects absorbed with pity secularism equates there not to speak anything Islamic nuisance and a great PM of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hassina. However, Basudev Dhar, Dhaka correspondent of Dainik Statesman, a flourishing Bengali Daily published from Kolkata regularly reports the persecutions upon the BD minorities and Hindus by the majority Muslims as a most regular feature there.
……………….
The onslaught upon the BD Hindus and other minorities are so reckoning, this may be presented in a form of social appeal and deputation to the all Indian High Commissionand embassies including the United Nation forums, so the rights of minorities in Bangladesh cannot be tampered any more. The status of BD minorities are now clearly in  a level of existential threat facing a process of ethnic cleansing now so promoted  through the softness of constitution amendments with a ensuing hard dome of complete Talibalization of Bangladesh.
